the modern traveller. By having many different clients with
different brands and varying budget needs, UI Design can bring
to the table a wealth of information and knowledge in designing,
space planning, specifying and costing.
Our
knowledge of appropriate materials and the attention given
to construction detailing has not only produced award winning
spaces, but also budget conscious designs. We always work
very closely with the owners on cost related issues, maintainability
and longevity of the products. Specifically, we like to provide
a design that reflects the client's market approach and image
of the brand and its intended use. UI Design is very conscious
and proud of our previous track record in our ability to match
the finishes with the product and the budget.
All
of our concept designs, design development and working drawings
are produced using AutoCAD 2004. We are committed to the team
approach and work very closely with the architect, consulting
engineers and sub-trades to ensure that the highest level
of communication and coordination is achieved. We generally
produce hand-drawn renderings for all public spaces or key
areas. This is still the fastest, most cost efficient way
to express design ideas to our clients. Renderings, presentation
drawings and fully detailed colour boards allow our clients
to further convey conceptual ideas to their directors, management
staff, banks, the press, and other interested parties.
By
having UI Purchasing in-house, we are continually able to
strengthen our design technical specifications by working
back and forth sharing the latest product information at the
given price point that is required for the project. Thus,
our details and specifications are the most technically sound
in the marketplace.
